Method

Signal Desk is how we read a grid.

B2B Dashboard App Analytics is not a vendor feature list. It is a desk practice: what you open first, what you are allowed to alert on, and what you are willing to say out loud in a QBR.

01

Claim cards before layout

Every tile on the home screen gets a card: audience, time window, grain, and a falsifier. If the falsifier cannot be stated in one sentence, the tile does not deserve the Monday slot. Layout comes after the cards, never before.

02

Alert contracts with a human name

An alert is a request for someone’s attention. The contract names the owner, the hours they can be interrupted, the threshold, and the first action. Unsigned alerts are turned off during the programme. Teams are often surprised how quiet the app becomes.

03

A fixed Monday order

We do not let the most colourful chart win. The desk opens in a published sequence — usually integrity, then volume, then ageing work. Colour is allowed later. The ritual is documented in the journal and practised in every Atelier Seat.

04

A charter the board can hold

The method ends with a short desk charter: metric contracts across teams, the alert list, seasonality notes for the Thai commercial calendar, and a board-pack outline. Pretty screenshots are optional. The charter is not.

What Signal Desk is not

It is not a Looker, Power BI, or Metabase course. It is not warehouse modelling. If your dashboard app cannot yet produce a reliable join, you still belong here for literacy — but you will leave knowing which engineering ticket to file, not how to file it yourself.

Most people meet the method inside Reading the Revenue Grid. If you only need the recordings, choose Signal Desk on the fees page. If the grid is already a team sport, write to the desk about retainership.
